Hard Work for a Good Cause – Team WOD Saturday, April 14, 9am – Noon
You’re invited to the First Annual Jose’s Hands “Strongest Hands” Charity Team WOD.

This year we’ve started a CrossFit Team WOD event for Jose’s Hands, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit that supports medical missions across the Carribean and South America.  This year, Jose’s Hands will be sending medical missionaries to Peru from July 22 – 29.  Jose’s Hands needs to raise nearly $10,000 to send medical students and medicine to under-served areas of Peru.

So… preparation for the upcoming trip has begun, and as part of an ongoing commitment to Jose’s Hands, Caution CrossFit is hosting the first Team WOD to help raise funds for the event.


WHEN:  Saturday, April 14 from 9am – Noon.  Registration begins at 8:00am, WODS will start between 9am and 10am.

TEAM WOD:  A team consists of 2 girls and 2 guys.  All of the exercises in the WOD will depend on partner participation.  We would prefer if the teams consist of members of the same box, but this is not strictly enforced.

WINNERS:  Although the winners of the WOD will actually be the medical missionaries going to Peru, we will be awarding the CrossFit box that sends the most number of teams to the charity WOD with a Jose’s Hands plaque which the box will get to keep for one year.  Next year the box would return the plaque and either re-claim the plaque or lose it to another box.  This is for one year of bragging rights!

FOOD, DRINKS & MUSIC:  We’ll have the event catered with food and beer for sale.  We’ll also have a DJ playing great music.  Bring your entire box and your family to support as well.  Proceeds from concessions sales will also go towards the Peru medical mission trip.
